URL: Serenity Opens At No. 2

Unless this film makes a killing overseas, I doubt we’ll see a Serenity II.  Which is a shame because both the movie and the TV show it’s based on are very good.

URL: Bush picks aide for supreme court

Based on what I read so far and the reaction I seen on the left and right, I am extraordinarily underwhelmed by Harriet Miers.  She’s little more than zero-experienced crony of President Bush.  Could she be a sacrificial lamb? The pre-cursor to a more conservative choice for Bush?  Who knows, but Dems are already lining up to support her — before any investigation is done of her record, no less — and that can’t be sitting well with the President’s hard-right constituency.
