I will not deny there is some truth in Brother Hoagland’s assertion, but I find myself wondering just how many of his student’s parents can actually pronounce bacchanalian, let alone know what it means.  OK, maybe I being a bit facetious. I do think Brother Hoagland is correct to shift the focus back on the parents.  Often, they are the ones spending all money on dresses, boats, houses, and booze.  They need to take some responsibility.  If they want to sponsor a prom, great, but whatever happens will fall squarely on them, not the school.

Link: Surface Gets Full Season

I’m glad to hear this.  Much like Threshold, Surface has really grown on me in the last few weeks.  Of course, I’m a sucker for genre shows like this so it wasn’t a hard sell.  Surface can be, at times, little more than a B-movie, but it’s also entertaining and the writers get points for creativity.
