I think a lot of Americans are realizing they made the wrong choice last November.  Well, it’s a little too late, isn’t it?  A lot people I know, several of them Democrats, told me they voted for Bush because they felt they had to vote for who would keep the country safe during are long war against terror.  One woman I work with actually told me she had to put the needs of the country ahead of her own person political beliefs, and in her mind Kerry was not the strongest candidate when it came to national security issues.  Well I told her what a buch of hooey that was and we’ve often debated the merits of that decision.  Well, like so many others, this woman in now seeing the aftermath of that wrong-minded vote.  However, it’s too late; there’s no easy return policy or Wayback Machine.  This man will remain in office for two more years.  Two more years to bankrupt our government, pay for tax cuts to the rich on the backs of the poor, and watch our service men and women die in an ill-planned war.  The only hope we have is to weaken Republican control in Washington and I’m of the opinion that will be a very difficult battle. Perhaps now people will think long and hard before they make such stupid decisons.
