The World Can Now Rest Easy

Well, now maybe we can obsess about something more important.

Another Great Show Cancelled

In its infinite wisdom, CBS has decided to cancel Threshold.  That’s a real shame.  The show was really beginning to find its footing.  Hopefully, CBS will at least give it a full season, but it’s doubtful.

The Time Has Come

This year was only the second season I watched Alias  — I did catch  up on the three previous seasons thanks to DVD.  After watching seasons 1-3 I did think season 4 was a it of a letdown, and season 5 has been nothing to write about.  Now, it looks like ABC is finally done with the show, as well.  I’m glad they’ve given the show time create a big ending.  Hopefully, Mia Maestro and Lena Olin will be back to complete our group of kick ass women.  That, of course, was always one of the great things about Alias, it’s take-no-shit women.  It’ll be a shame to see that end.

This Is The Best He Can Do?

I was reading this article about James Denton hosting the next Miss American pageant and I found myself wondering if this is the best he can do.  He’s in the cast of the second most popular show on television, the breakout hit of the previous season, and the best way he knows to cash in on that success is to host the Miss America pageant?  I wonder if he’s going to sing "There She Is, Miss America"?

As I continued reading the article, I came to realize James Denton is one of the Hollywood guys who’s on one of the most sex-filled shows to air these days, but embraces "real American vlues."  Whatever, James.  You’re nothing more than a boy toy for Terry Hatcher’s "Susan."  Without your bad-boy storyline from last season you’re just boring.
