Surely some stupid-ass law like this won’t backfire?  Not only is the wrong way to attack the issue of illegal immigration, you would have to be crazy for attaching your name to it!  I think even President Bush will have a problem with this one.

And the FBI wonders why it has a problem getting everyday Americans to accept the Patriot Act?  President Bush is always telling us the Patriot Act has been an important tool in the "war" on terror, but is that really the case?  If so, what are the examples?  I’m not trying to be a liberal asshole here.  I want us to use all legal means to stop terrorists before they can hurts us, but I’ve never been sold on the Patriot Act and the president has done nothing to give us examples of how it has helped.  Of course, that’s nothing new for the president.  He believes all he has to do is say something is fact and we should automatically accept it.

Is Dreamworks SKG really worth $1.6 billion?  When’s the last time they had a hit film outside of a cartoon?  Hell, Paramount isn’t even getting Dreamworks Animation, which was spun off some time ago.  They do get first dibs on distribution, but that hardly seems worth nearly two billion dollars.
