Once again, the Bush administration has not only shown a complete disregard for American ideals, but downright disrespect for the laws of our country.  I can’t help but think our Founding Fathers would be ashamed of what we’ve become.  What we’ve become in the name of national security.  How much more will this president have to do before the nation gets tired of it?  How much more will this president have to do before Republican apologists wake up?  In answer to the first question, not much more; in answer to the second question, who knows.

UPDATE:  The more I read about this, the more un-fucking believable it seems.  I mean, this is something you might read about in Communist Russia or China.  Not in America.  And it was sanctioned by "leader" of the free world!  This is a shining example of why we can’t allow the Patriot Act to be expanded.
