Missouri is a rather red state these days (well, maybe light red), yet Matt Blunt just can’t seem to catch a break.  A more detailed review of this survey shows where Matt Blunts support lies:  Republican, church-going, pro-life conservatives.  Unfortunately, that group of people has strong sway in this state.  The last governor to have bad numbers like this was Blunt’s predecessor, Bob Holden.  However, unlike Holden I think Blunt can easily win a second term with support from this group.
