A question we should all be asking.

I don’t know why I’ve only now discovered Boing Boing, but I’m glad I did.  It’s an interesting site covering a wide variety of subjects  and Cory Doctorow is one of the more interesting sci-fi authors out there.  If you haven’t read Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom you should.

I don’t often find myself in agreement with someone from Heritage Foundation, but oddly enough I agree with this editorial by Jospeh Loconte. 

I’m sure this frightens many "journalists," and for a lot of reasons they should be scared as hell, but in the long run it will only make our news media better.  When more newspapers, news organizations, and news magazines begin allowing their readers to become more involved in the process the better we will all be.  The days of the hatchet interview may soon be in the past — and that can only be good.  Granted, it will hurt at first, but change always hurts.
