I’m no fan of Roy Blunt, but I’m a little surprised he lost out to John Boehner for Majority Leader.  Blunt’s been slowing working his way up the political ladder in the House for years, not to mention being the consumate polician.  Considering Boehner’s own ties to lobbyists and the corrupt Ohio Republican Party can he be any better than Tom DeLay?  In the end, it may have been Blunt’s close ties to DeLay that did him in.
