Don’t Mess With David Gregory

You can always tell when the press begins growing tired of all the bullshit they’re given at White House press briefings.  For a few years they’re all willing to play nice, but after awhile, especially in a two-term president, they start getting pissy and don’t mind asking tough, hard-to-answer questions.  It’s been long overdue with this administration, but the luster may be wearing off.

This exchange between White House Press Secretary, Scott McClellan, and NBC’s chief White House correspondent, David Gregory, is priceless.  I will admit that McClellan was out of line, but it seems like Gregory was having a bad day because he is really over the top.  Will it last?  Maybe, but considering how journalist covet their supposed insider status I won’t be surprised to everything back to normal tomorrow.

The Doctors Beat The Olympics

I’ve been singing the praises of Grey’s Anatomy since the show premiered as a mid-season replacement for Boston Legal.  It has reinvigorated the medical drama in a way not seen since ER first came on the scene.  Last night’s episode "(As We Know it)," the conclusion to last week’s post-Super Bowl episode, "It’s the End of the World," was just a blast.  Granted, last night’s episode didn’t repeat the stellar ratings of the previous week, but it did beat the Olympics and had more viewers than Desperate Housewives for the first time.  If you’re not watching this show, you should be.
