In what is obviously a blatant political move to shore up Conservative Christian voters, Mass. Governor Mitt Romney is attempting to create an exemption for Catholic Charities so they will allowed to discriminate against same sex couples.  Of course, he tries to wrap it in religious freedom, but even that sounds pathetic.  The sad fact is, Catholic Charities does a lot of good work around the world, it a shame to see them sink to this level.  Why is the Catholic Church so obessed with homosexuality?  The scary thing about this is it opens the door to other groups to lobby for the same kind of exemption.  And once they can discriminate based on a person’s sexuality, what’s next?  Stupid, stupid, stupid.
