Ben Stein, annoying know-it-all, is upset that the Oscars didn’t stop for a moment of silence or say a prayer for the soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.  I find myself asking, "Why would they?"  It’s an award show.  Besides, had they done something like that the producers would have been accused of hypocrisy and insincerity.  Get over yourself, Ben, your "star" faded a long time ago.

I may agree with Harry Reid that President Bush will go down in history as the worst president we’ve ever had, but here’s the sad fact:  given the chance for a 3rd term, Conservatives would still vote for him.
