Sometimes I find myself thinking that Katie Holmes must be wondering just what the hell she got herself into with Tom Cruise.  At times, it seems like she’s Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby! With John Travolta and Kelly Preston as Sidney Blackmer and Ruth Gordon.

I will be the first to admit that national security issues don’t give a hard-on.  I know, it’s damned stupid and unsafe, so sue me!  That being said, I have to say I’m liking what I’ve read of the Democrats Real Security plan.  It’s sensible and sounds more contemporary than anything the Republicans are currently offering. I mean, what exactly do the Republicans have to offer other than invasion, war, invasion, war?  All I have to say is it’s about time!  Democrats have for too long allowed Republicans to wear the mantle of national security.

I doubt seriously if this is what President Bush wants to be remembered for.
