Another Great Choice By Bush

You have to hand it to President Bush:  he is consistent.  He consistently chooses the wrong people fill almost every position in government, and Tony Snow is just another example of someone who is over his head and really doesn’t know what he’s doing.  Unless, that is, you count whiny little fits.

Switching Phone Companies

Maybe it’s time to think about switching to Qwest.

Oh, That Mel!

Sometimes you just have to chuckle at Mel Gibson.  After fanning the flames of a psuedo-controversary to get Conservatives into marketing The Passion of the Christ, Republicans thought they had a friend in the socially Conservative Gibson.  Now, our man Mel is turning against his friends on the right.

The Show That Will Never Die

After airing what the WB called, and we all hoped, would be the series finale of 7th Heaven, we now learn that the stupidly-named CW will bring this horrid show back for at least a half season.  I know this show is popular with a lot of people, a lot of families, and mine was no exception for the longest time.  However, after spending years watching the show neither I nor my family could take the horrid acting and bad writing.  What grates is that many of the older actors have ability.  Both Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks have, in the past, shown they can act.  Away from 7th Heaven Barry Watson and Jennifer Biel have shown they are quite talented.  But get any of them on this show and they are as wooden as everyone else around them.  There’s no emotion to them.  They just spew out the lines in this monotone that just gets to me.  Especially  Mackenzie Rosman, who plays Ruthie.  How sad for the CW that they need to bring this show back.
