Feeling the Heat

OK, I promise this will be the last post I write about the cancellation of Stargate: SG-1.

What I’m wondering is SciFi is starting to regret the "shabby" way in which they canceled the show.  A lot of different outlets, from blogs to mainstream media, are talking up the cancellation of SciFi venerable flagship series.  While I still believe the writing was on the wall since this season began, you have to admit letting the cancellation news get out on the eve of their 200th episode, something no other U.S. sci-fi genre show has ever achieved was kind of shitty, but par for the course for SciFi (remember Farscape?).

On a good note, SciFi sister network, USA, has renewed The 4400 for a fourth season.
