Sometimes Americans Are Stupid

Yeah, I said it!  Here’s why: a recent polls shows that nearly half of Americans blame the Bush Administration for the September 11 attacks!  My how times have changed for dear George.  Now, I’m no fan of President Bush, but not even I would wouldn’t blame him alone for the attacks on September 11.  This was a failure across the board, no one person, and no one president, can be blamed.

I Just Don’t Get It

Maybe it’s just me, but I thought Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest was beyond stupid, badly acted, and horribly written.  I put off seing the film for over a month because every time I saw people coming out of the theater after seeing the film they were grumbling about how mediocre or bad it was.  I finally saw the film myself when it came to a theatre with cheaper ticket prices and I was unimpressed.  That fact that it has now grossed more than a billion dollars worldwide just floors me!

Morbid Curiosity Bites Me In the Ass

Normally, I stay away from any movie or documentary based on September 11.  I’ve not seen, nor will I see, United 93 or World Trade Center.  I won’t watch the CBS documentary.  I have no problem if others do, it’s a free country, but they’re just not for me.  That being said, I decided to check out ABC’s The Path to 9/11.  Maybe it was morbid curiosity to see if all the negative hype was true.  Sadly, the negative hype turned out to be spot on true.  I turned off the television a little over an hour into the “drama” and never looked back.  Shame on you ABC!
