It never fails, does it?  President Bush can’t get his way, can’t get his own party to help destroy the Constitution, and he starts whining about how national security is at risk.  You know, Mr. President, you can only cry wolf so many times before people start calling “bullshit” on all of it.  I think you’re reaching that point, Mr. President.

Pope Benedict “regrets” that Muslims found it offensive when he said some of the teachings of Islam were “evil and inhumane.”  What a load of crap.  A man like Pope Benedict doesn’t get to be Pope without understand the impact of words.  If he wants to discuss evil and inhumane perhaps he should look inward to little events like the Crusades or…let’s see…the Inquisition!  I think Benedict knew quite well what he was saying and unfortuantely for him Muslims are not buying the fake apology.
