Nearly every employee of the daytime shift at a Wal-Mart Supercenter in Hialeah Gardens, FL left their job October 16 to protest the changes Wal-Mart is making to their work policies.  Changes that pretty much condemn Wal-Mart employees to low wages and rule out any possibility of working a second job because the company requires they be available at all times for any shift.  I say good for them.  Maybe their courage will prompt other Wal-Mart employers to stand up for themselves.
