If there is one issue that continues to divide people who usually vote, think, and believe along the same lines it’s the issue of stem cell research.  Catholics, as a group, usually oppose research of this nature for no reason other than they’ve been told to by their priests and bishops, but a group of Catholics in Missouri are taking a stand in support of stem cell research.  They are openly opposing their religious leaders; something you rarely see among Catholics these days, especially in Missouri.  I’m glad to see these courageous people standing up.  I wish more of the faithful would learn the facts instead of believing the hype.
