The word "hero" gets tossed areound a lot — too much I think — however, I think we can all agree that James Kim was a true, if unlikely, hero.  His car stranded in the snow with two children and a wife, Kim set out in the bitter cold to find help.  According to those on the scene Kim, who was wearing only his street clothes, trekked nearly eight miles in the treacherous Oregon wilderness before he fell down a ravine and was killed.  Mercefully, his wife and the children were rescued.
