Well, Democrats now get the opportunity to show the country — and the world, for that matter — they can govern the country better than the Republicans have in the last 12 years.  This past election was quite an upset, much grander than anyone thought it would be, so let’s hope the Democrats don’t squander it.

By the way, it’s interesting to note the president’s now-constant calls for bipartisanship when both he, his vice-president, and his men who controlled both Houses of Congress thumbed their noses are the very idea just a few months ago; and most certainly for the last six years.  Such hypocrisy is nothing new in Washington, and certainly nothing new with this president.
