It looks like Senator Barak Obama is position himself for a run at the presidency in 2008.  That should make things very interesting, I think.  Obama seems to be preceived as bi-partisan, he’s as popular among whites as African Americans, and he’s a proud progressive.  I’m not sure he has the experience to prevail in a presidential election, but I think it will be good to have him part of the primary.
