The BS Just Keeps on Rising

If there’s one thing you can say about the testimony of Alberto Gonzales it’s it contained more BS than anything we’ve heard from a member of this atrocious administration.  Here’s my favorite line:  “I now understand there was a conversation with myself and the president[.]” Huh?  You now understand?  I know the Attorney-General is a busy man, but I think he would remember a visit with the president in which they decided the let go an attorney who wasn’t playing ball.  Once again, I find myself asking if there is one, one, member of the Bush cabinet who isn’t a complete and utter moron!

Was NBC Wrong?

So, was it wrong of NBC to air the video rants of Cho Seung-Hui, the student who massacred 33 people at Virgina Tech?  I think the president of NBC News has a point when he says it’s a rare insight into the mind of madman and because of that it’s newsworthy.  However, if I’d been in his shoes I would have chosen not to air the video.  Maybe show stills of the video, but not the video itself when the families and students are still reeling from what happened.  What it did was make NBC look like they were trying to score ratings because a lunatic chose them over other networks.
