What a Year So Far
Weather in Missouri can be trying at times. One minute you have rain every day the next it’s drought conditions. This year has been something else. Bad ice in February and March; high winds and flooding in April and May; and now more tornadoes. The thing is, it’s been like this for a couple years. A year ago a bad storm came through my area and ripped the roof off our shed, mangled the tin roof of our barn, and hale with what seemed like a tornado pushing it put baseball size holes in our house’s siding! I’ve never been one to be scared of storms, but since waking up from a dead sleep to hear hail pounding into your home, breaking windows and wreaking havoc, the slightest high wind wakes me up anymore.
