The Missouri legislature ended its most recent session without taking a final vote on the utterly unnecessary and overly restrictive voter ID law that could have disenfranchised nearly a quarter million Missouri voters.  I’m sure it won’t be the last attempt by the far right to push this kind of legislation, but these stupid laws are becoming more and more unpopular with voters. I understand the need for some form of ID for voters, but Missouri already has common sense regulations in place, so I just don’t get it.  Why do far right Conservatives always try to push legislation like this?
