My eyes are bleeding!

I’ve always thought Bill Clinton was a good, if not crafty, president but I think his days in the limelight are in the past.  If not, they should be.  His attacks on Barak Obama not only ruined his wife’s chances but turned off many of their former supporters — myself included.  The idea that Senator Obama should “kiss his ass” for him to support his party’s candidate is not only offensive, but laughable.  Why does Senator Obama need Bill Clinton?  What can he bring to the table other than lots of baggage and hurt feelings.  Like most former presidents, it’s time for Bill Clinton to just fade away.

I don’t know what say other than, “Sweet Jesus!”

I don’t always agree with Frank Rich, but that’s often due to the fact that Rich has a penchant for saying what few are willing to say, and it’s not always pleasant.  His most recent rant sums up so much of what I — and many others — think about John McCain and his ilk and it’s nice to see someone in the media with the balls to speak out against what has become standard operating procedure for Republicans.
