A military group is setting up a town hall meeting and hopes to have both presidential candidates appear before 6,000 people with ties to the military.  So far, only John McCain has agreed to be involved while Senator Obama is saying he has a scheduling conflict.  This is not a good decision.  While I can admit the military is far more Republican than Democrat (wrongly so in my opinion) that doesn’t mean Senator Obama can’t grab military vores, and this is the kind of event he should be attending.  Not attending will only make him look weak and Obama cannot afford to look weak.  This is the perfect event to prove he can be Commaner-in-Chief.
