It seems the young democracies of Eastern Europe are a little worried by the recent actions of their former comrade, Russia.  Maybe the should be.  Watching Russia this week has been like flipping though a history book about the Communist takeover of Eastern Europe.  My personal opinion, which doesn’t amount to a whole hell of a lot, is that we need to be worried about the actions of the so-called democracy of Russia.  The question is, would the world allow history to repeat itself?  Considering the weak responses of the world’s democracies to Russia, not to mention the pathetic response from America, I think it could easily happen again.
